Today's prompt is: What is one talent you wish you have that you don’t?
I guess I have several talents that I wish I had.
Since I want to be a blogger, I wish I had a more creative mind and could come up with topics really easily. I think I can, I just don't usually have enough quiet time at my house to just sit and think.
I wish I could dance. The only time I can really pretend that I can dance is when I've had a few drinks and so has everyone else. I was in ballet when I was really little for one year and then my dance teacher got pregnant and took time off. We moved to another town and Mom enrolled me in a class locally but the teacher terrified me and I quit. We now have Izzie in ballet/tap and hip hop. I guess I have to live vicariously through her. :)
Photography is something else I wish I had one ounce of talent in. I just don't. I can take a fine picture, but never have I taken a photo where I've looked at it and thought, "Wow!" I just don't have that talent. Maybe I need a better camera, but I can't justify spending so much when I just take plain jane pictures.
Is patience a talent? If so, I wish I had some. Haha. But seriously.
I really think some of these things I could really learn if I put my mind to it, but I don't have time or patience. Maybe someday. Is there anything you wish you could do?
Hah! Patience should be a talent!!! I am totally with you on that! As for the photography - a lot of times it's more about understanding and getting the most out of the camera you have and less about needing something "better" - I'd love to help you tho! ReplyDeleteTotally with you on the dancing! I seriously dance like Elaine from Seinfeld...no talent here. Singing is my biggest one...I wish I could just belt out a song and amaze everyone around me...which is probably why I didn't get that talent; I'd be way too proud haha.

I am very impatient and it is pretty bad :( I know you have kiddos but is there a certain night that they're away with friends or school activities that you could set aside for yourself? Or maybe go to a local bookstore or coffee shop and get the wheels turning?
ReplyDeleteA lot of bloggers get inspiration from reading other blogs! We see a topic that sparks an idea and we just go with it :) It's hard to come up with new stuff all the time! I often wonder how I did it before I had Mia, ha ha!
